My hats include mom, wife, daughter, 2nd grade teacher and sister.  I work one mile from my house in small private school and most days I really enjoy it.

I have a 21 year old daughter who still lives at home.  She has been pretty "high maintenance" most of her life.  I'm learning how to be the mother of an adult who is not exactly ready to grow up (financially, emotionally).  I'm learning to let go and let her make her own mistakes.  I'm learning to keep my mouth shut (smile and nod).  It hasn't been easy.

I have a 16 year old son (yikes!).  He is about to get his driver's licence.  He is what they call an "underachiever."  Smart as can be but LAAAAAZY!  Drives me insane!  Constant battles with grades.

I have a wonderful marriage.  My husband is the best there is.  I can always count on him.

I also have two elderly parents who live nearby.  They are still somewhat "independent" (Dad cares for Mom but he can barely get around).  I'm their only child in town so most of the caregiving falls on me.
