BOOST TO BOOST

Bless you. I found you under the common field and you are anything but common. We share some "physical disabilities" and looking after ill parents. I no longer feel different or so alone. Your strength and determination inspires me. Our dreams our similar and I believe you will acheive anything you set your mind too.

I was born on Thanks Giving Day in 1955.  Four Days later I was adopted by two very loving and caring people who had no idea of all of the pain and heartache that was in store for them.

By pain and heartache I mean that I would be a very sickly child that would need constant care and patience.

The problems all started when I was four years old.  I started having sore throats and they took me to two doctors one that said that I should have my tonsils removed and the other that said I should not.  Well, needless to say my parents listened to the first doctor and had them removed.  But haver the surgery, the real problems started.  I had caught an infection of some sort.  (The doctors never could figure out what type of infection that I had).

But by the time I was ready to go to school, my parents took me to another doctor that said that the best thing they could do would be to place me in a home for the mentally retarded, because I would never be able to cope or deal with the real world.  My parents said no to that idea.  (To this day, I thank GOD that they didn't do what he suggested).  What they did instead was to place me in special education classes.  After all the testing was said and done, it was discovered that I had a learning disability, and did NOT need to be put away.

With the support of my parents and teachers I was able to complete high school and 2 years of college!

I worked on and off for over 20 years as a sccretary and computer operator.  (So much for what that very silly doctor said).

I have even gone back to school and gotten my certification as a floral arranger.

I had to stop working due to other health problems arising and to take care of my ailing parents. Both of which I have lost.

My favorite domestic animal is (if you choose dog be specific with breed etc):
Cats - All Breeds. Snakes - Boas and Pythons
Why:
I love cats because they show you unconditional love. I have always loved reptiles. I have even owned some.
Five people either dead or alive you would have at your fantasy dinner party::
My Mother My Father My Mother's Mother Carolyn Johnaee Davis Nolan Loretta Beula Jones
Why:
Because they have brought a great deal of happiness and security into my life.
If a pilot would fly you anywhere you want, you would go to:
 Bermuda
My perfect slice of pizza is:
 with extra cheese and pepperoni
You are at a bar. You order this drink:
 Pina Colata
You are at a coffee shop. What coffee or tea do you order:
 Coffee light and sweet
If a genie could grant you three wishes they would be (separate by commas):
Be healthy, Have children of my own, Be financially independent.
You are going on a long road trip and you can only bring three CD's. Which ones do you bring (separate by commas):
 Yanni, Celtic Thunder, Johnnie Mathis
If I could do anything for my neighborhood today, it would be:
Feed the underfed children, clean up the drugs and violence.
A sunset I remember:
1969 in Bermuda with my mother sitting at the beach.
