Life is what you make it.

I was so ticked off at my bro this weekend and I let it carry over into Monday.  Now that is stupid.  I've read "the Secret" and I've seen the secret work.  I must've gotten lazy and just didn't try to control myself.

Well, I'm so over everything now.  I'm back in charge again and am loving it.  I've just found out a deal at the gym I go to, that they are having a summer special for $159 for a year.  That is sooooooooooooooo awesome.  I am so in.

Going to an acquaintances this evening after I work out at the gym.  I thought our friendship was over, but apparently not.  I guess that's okay.  These people were/are more my hubby's friends.  I don't know.  I don't have much respect for these folks, but ya know.  What they do is there business and not mine, so I'm just going to keep my nose out of it.  Keep my opinions to myself.  They have to stick up for themselves cause it ain't my business.

Soooooooooooooooo, this weekend, I'm going to supply the games to a shower then take off to my Sissy's.  I've decided against going to my hubbys friends, annual bonfire.  All they do is sit around, drink, smoke and talk the same old talk.  Just not my cup of tea.  I'd rather go walk around the Blueberry Festival w/sober people.

Been totally diggin my hubby.  He has been pretty fun lately and darn is he ever cute.  That's all I have to say about that.

Parties/outings

Bugsy, it's tough. It really is tough. I haven't drank any alcohol since November 9. Activities for me are the killer. Well, I can find lots of things to do independently, but as far as meeting poeple, it is difficult. Most common place used to be a bar or party for me. I am working every day though to have positive friendships and relationships, it's just not easy, but nothing worth while hardly ever is. I'm just saying that I connect with your control. You have the same insight that has been helping me exercise control. Keep it up.
