2 weeks ~

I've been waking up every day w/NO hesitationLaughing.  Also I keep thinking that to play the game you have to show up, have to BE THERE. And thought about my fears.

I am in a new area at work, I don't know these ppl. and everyone works in their own cube - not like the lab I'm used to - where everyone is easy to see and talk with!  I made a commitment to see myself as an outgoing, friendly person, and get to know some of these people in the cubicles!  I found that many of them just do not leave for lunch! strike out there, but I tried to say "hi" to everyone whenever I saw them.  Succeeded in making a lunch date with cubicle gal behind me, talked a bit to several other people, even tho' we may not cross paths again for several days (i'm a part-timer and work in 2 different buildings)  I am making connections and that makes me proud.  It s much easier to come in, go to your cube, and not put yourself out there... I am NOT doing my usual and doing what's easy, and I am seeing a glimmer of results.

Lastly, I have sent in my resume for several jobs online.  Also today I spoke to a manager in a different dept who said she would enroll me in a training program that I would love to do!

I' m feelilng good and praising God for His many blessings to me through this program and his people.
