Hello-

May I introduce myself.  I am a middle aged female that is pretty happy with life.  I have two adult sons and no pets to speak of.  The company in which I worked down sized, so I have made a decision to take life easy and not work for a while.  It is a wonderful vacation I have chosen to give myself.  I have been busier without a job than I was while working.  I have gotten involved in politics and volunteered in a campaign office, I am in heaven reading one book after the other.  Right now I am reading, "A New Earth Awakening to Your Life's Purpose," by Eckhart Tolle.  It has been promoted by Oprah for a class that will begin in March 2008 that I want to be a part of.  I have created a Vision Board, started daily meditation, reading the Bible each morning and focusing on eating selective foods to not so much watch my weight, but just to make better food choices.  I am enjoying writing to friends and family and just doing with my time what I will.  I love to garden when the weather improves and go out with friends occasionally.  Since I have chosen not to work for a while, my money is limited so I've created a life that has been solitary, on purpose.  I listen to music and motivational tapes more than ever.  I sing out loud and dance freely.  Oh, and I'm laughing a lot.  Laughing to myself, at myself and for myself.  I'm feeling great these days with good health and a good sense of SELF.

I joined TOOLS because:
I found TOOLS by accident. I was looking for something else on Internet and wasn't sure of the email address I was looking for. I typed something that brought up TOOLS. I believe that nothing happens by accident!!! It looked like something I would like to know about, so I joined.
You are offered your dream job. What job is it?:
My dream job would be working from home. Home is my most favorite place in the world to spend my time. I have known several people in my life that have worked from home and disliked it, but I sure would like to give it a try. My dream job would be..wait I have this written on my vision board..I would want to set my own hours, make an unlimited income, of course, I would be paid basised on my volume, I would receive paid vacation, sick leave, health benefits, 401K, life insurance policy and receive raises and bonsus depending on my accomplishments and how well the company is doing. I would like to work for a company I could be proud to work for and my boss or leader would be someone that would treat me like an adult with a brain and not a puppet on a string. I want to be proud of my work and my abilities to perform a quality job. I want to feel and know I am part of a successful and thriving business and I am needed to be a part of that success. I don't want to feel pressured and stressed out to perform unreasonable duties. I would want the opportunity to visit my home office with the company sending for me at least once a year, maybe to attend award dinners and/or company functions. I want to be proud of supporting a business from my home base and making a living that would allow me to not only take care of my financial responsibilities, but also allow me to enjoy life to the fullest.
My favorite wild animal is:
I have always been fascinated by cats of all sizes. I have had several house cats throughtout the years, but there is nothing like the look of a tiger, cougar, lions, etc. I have a room decorated in my home in the safari look and I take advantage of making sure large kitties are placed all over for my enjoyment.
My favorite domestic animal is (if you choose dog be specific with breed etc):
 Kitty cat.
Why:
I'm not one tht needs an animal following me from room to room like a dog does. I'm very independent and cats are that way also. They let you know when they need a little loving, and that's find with me.
Why:
Ok, I keep answering the why of a question before I am suppose to. Sorry!
Five people either dead or alive you would have at your fantasy dinner party::
Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Jesus, Buddha, Oprah, My dad and my step-father who are both in heaven.
Why:
They all have a way of sharing something worth something with us that they either give us now or gave us from their life's work that has benefited my life and the lifes of many.
If a pilot would fly you anywhere you want, you would go to:
My step-father was military retired and gave me a wonderful life of living all over the world. Some of the places I've lived I was quite young and did not have the opportunity to really enjoy those places. So if I could I would like to be taken to France where I lived from the age of 4 to 8 years old.
My perfect slice of pizza is:
A slice with everything, except those little fish someone came up with the idea to put on a pizza. Thin crust, little sauce and lots of cheese. Lots of meat, onions and just a little bit of olives.
You are at a bar. You order this drink:
Now this is a place I'm unfamiliar with. I always order the same thing which is usually a regular over the rocks margarita with salt. Every once in a while someone will be drinking something I will try, but for the most part I am driving and stay away from drinks I am not familiar with. I'm open though!!!! Like to try new adventures and those drinks with those sexy names.
You are at a coffee shop. What coffee or tea do you order:
I'm not much of a coffee drinker. At home I drink instant coffee..see I told you! I was just introduced to a wonderful coffee at Starbucks that had chocolate chips in it..Yum!!! I love tea just for the hot cup to hold on to with no sugar or cream. A good Bigelow tea like Constant Comment, Lemon or Original Good Earth teas.
If a genie could grant you three wishes they would be (separate by commas):
Interesting Question - 1) To live my life out to old age happy, healthy, sane and financially set. 2) To know for sure, without a doubt that my God considers me good enough to reside in his beautiful heaven after I die. 3) To know what I don't know.
You are going on a long road trip and you can only bring three CD's. Which ones do you bring (separate by commas):
 1) Nature, the sound of the ocean, rainforest and living creatures. 2) Nancy Wilson or Natalie Cole. 3) Gospel, good old fashion gospel.
If I could do anything for my neighborhood today, it would be:
Say hello when we see each other. Smile when spoken to and be a good neighbor and stay out of their business. That's what I could do.
A sunset I remember:
Sunsets are God's gift no matter where it is seen from, but the most memorable one for me was when I was on a Carribean Cruise. Wow, the sunsets against the ocean, being reflected in the sea and up against the evening sky was nothing other than magic, breathtaking and unforgetable gift for the eyes to see. I've had the same experience in Hawaii too.
Why:
To remain young at heart, to avoid having to live your life with so many rules, regulations, can't do this and can't do that - to be able to fly like a bird and live in wonderland - A land of wonder!
