Oatmeal

I am so excited because I feel like I am changing something significant.  As I've mentioned in a blog, I think I have been restricting my calories for so long, I've really squashed my metabolism.  I've been reading and reading about how to get my metabolism going again.  Most advice says to eat every 2 - 4 hours, vary the foods you eat, vary the calories you eat day over day.

Well I've been doing this since the 19th of Feb.  I'm actually eating again.  I haven't eaten real food at multiple times during the day in so long.  I'm trying new foods.

The biggest break through is OATMEAL.  I don't know that I've ever actually tried it before.  But I keep reading that its one of the healthiest foods.  I just simply tried it and I just simply LOVED it.  Its like green eggs and ham.  I always thought that I'd hate it.  Now its the thing I look forward to eating the most on certain breakfast mornings.

I think this is a great step in the right direction towards improving my health and energy again...and ultimately getting some umph by in my metabolism.

Thanks Tools for helping me with determination to improve my health (back to day 1).

Everyone eat your oatmeal.  It really is good.

Peace and encouragement.
