i've moved on from this business idea and am rolling on another, larger plan. thanks for the feedback! it's relevent for this next bit, too.
says: Socially responsible investment projects can be successful in this economy. Focus on producing a quality product packaged in an eco bag (burlap) or container (re-purposed-wood crate) that has aftermarket value/use. Silk screen is a cost effective way to brand these and has huge appeal with your target audience. Offer discounts on return customers who re-use the bags/containers. Be creative in how you display and promote your product and provide ideas to your customers re how they can create a low-maintenance, personalised green environment on their own. I have a world of ideas and approaches for you, if you're interested. Thank you for doing your part in making our world a heathier place for future generations. Take care. Jon.
says: Hi there, I have started a "green" business and it's going very well! I found an eco and ethical conscious supplier of organic cotton tote bags which I then put photos onto that I have taken of the outdoors in my area...mountain landscapes, flowers, etc. and people love them! I want to see our town become plastic bag free and it's so rewarding to see people using them. My day job pays the bills but my bag business pays for gear and other fun outdoor stuff! I hope your business is going well, compost is great for everyone. :)

says: I also run a compost business. There are not a lot of us out there, at least not smallbusinesses that can give each other support and ideas. The big guys don't wnt their secrets out. I raise red wiggler worms and sell them for home composters pllus I sell the compost from my own worms plus the tea. My business has taken way too much time and we are winding down with hopes of starting back up when i retire. Good luck. If you need some support let me know.
