how do you complete a TOOLS day

i usually don't sit through an entire tools box in one day. if i do, i usually don't hit "done" that first day. i'll read, watch, and listen and then let it sit with me for a day or two. sometimes, i spend three days on one "day". this way, i can process things better.

what about you?

says: I have limited time so I have to complete the Tools day as soon as I can. It takes me up to an hour to get through it properly. There is something to your idea of absorption. The time I put into it includes time to incorporate the lessons in my mind. Peace, Charley

says: No way...I get up early anyway every day so I sit there and do the whole thing, including checkin out and saying hello to people and reading blogs. I like it here! Amazing what you do, climbergirl!

hi climbergirl

hope your new place is going great!

yes, its a good question because there is certainly more than one way to get the most of the tools days. Sometimes I feel compelled to do it all in one sitting (about 20 minutes) and I feel good when I click over a day.

The best days I've had here have been when I have taken the time to read lesirely, print the exercises and reading, and take my time to really think about what I'm reading. I'm a speed reader (bad university habit I can't kick) and I have to sometimes tell myself to slow down and take it all in.

My advice is don't feel compelled to do anything in a certain timeframe. If you have to move on, then print the exercises and readings to look over later. The work from that day may not float your boat that day but it may be really helpful later. :-)

says: I try to complete a session in one day.  I might have to get up and do a few things, but I get it done.  My problem is forgetting to hit done after doing the extensive stuff... like blogging, or I use up  my turn on the computer before I hit finish.
