just want to start the blog, i really dont understand what blogs are, are they like a journal?  if so , why not just call it a journal, anyways.  got my wife involved in doing tools to life as well.  i listen to ellis and his show inspired me to do it.  so far so good.  anyways keep on rockin

It is a journal.  The term developed in popularity in the past five to ten years.  It started out as 'Web log', and now the common term is 'blog'.
