I used to think that I was going to live my entire life on my own, that I was going to live by myself and use all my money to buy towys and live by myself without anyone to bother me.  When I grew up, I decided that other people should probably be part of my life, and I've been figuring out how to incorporate other people into my life ever since then.  I'm not without faults - I have my faults and I'm human but I want to be positive and find my place in the world. 

I was raised by a good family and read a lot of books as a kid.  I wanted to learn about the world and I fought my way through school and into a good college.  Although high school was hard, I found a way to get through it and when I was in college I continued to get better and better grades, I even had a girlfriend for a while.  I became more patient.  I found the skills that would keep me in a job - I had major responsibilities for the first time in my life - job, projects, independent living out of the house, and finances.  I earned a degree in mechanical engineering in 2001 from Kettering University.  Although I tried to find an engineering job in 2001, and I did work for a test equipment manufacturer, the industry changed and I was out of a job in 2001.  I started working with my family selling tank trailers in 2002, and found it was something I enjoyed.  My skills at organization were valued.  My ability to develop relationships finally had an outlet.  It also allowed me to use creativity to express myself.  Over the past 8 years, I have found a way to make a living on my own and I own my own company now which sells new and used tank trailers.  In my dating relationships, I have had two happy long term relationships in the past 10 years and neither of those relationships are currently intact.  At least the last one ended better than the first one did, and we are still friends at least.  In June of 2010 I chose to stop working with my family, because I felt like I was doing most of the work in the company and because I did not agree with the business decisions that my grandfather (my boss) was making.  I also felt that my contributions were not recognized to the extent that they should have been.  This made me decide to start my own company where I would make all the business deci
