Hi everyone!

Hi everyone, just got home a little while ago. I started to answer my e-mails and explain what I've been up to but then I decided to kill several birds with one stone and just enter it all on my blog. (I would never kill a bird with a stone by the way) This is especially for "shecan" who I hope had a wonderful day splashing in her brother's pool and who I also hope wore plenty of sunscreen. Friday. as I mentioned in an earlier blog, we went to the movies and saw "Get Smart". They did a great job in developing the character by not making him a complete moron. He was actually a skilled agent in many ways and a sensitive person so you really liked him. I was pleasently surprised that the movie went a little deeper than just a sophmoric slapstick comedy. Yesterday, went shopping for a smart phone and met my daughter for coffee. Then did more shopping. Today I spent the day at an outdoor concert. We saw a group called "Poi Dog Pondering". They were big about 9 years ago and I guess they're making a comeback. It rained most of the day and it was cold but we still had a great time. If you want to hear their music go to http://www.ravinia.org/BuyTickets/eventdetail.aspx?xid_show=99793856&month=6&year=2008. Their opening act was good too! Well, I've got to get my jammies on and get to bed so I won't have difficulties getting up in the morning like I intend to, you know the drill, wake up, turn off the alarm, clap hands and say "I'm having a great day!", take a deep breath....", need I say more? Sweet dreams. Talk to you in the a.m.

Thanks

Thanks for this - sounds like you had a great weekend.  I'm going to check out the music link tomorrow.  (And I did have a great time splashing my the pool and wore sunscreen although it's easy to stay out of too much sun in their yard -  ha ha),
