I am divorced and living with my ex-wife in a two hundred year old farm house above the Hudson, on the Western bank of the River, just south of the Tappan Zee Bridge.  I have been writing for a number of years, and I have published only a slight book of poems entitled "Windswept."  I have completed a book length poem entitled "Cronies," and have been working for a time on a novel entitled "Our Day Will Come."

  I have been looking for work for some time, but I am unable to get anything other than temporary jobs. Every time I am close to a job, something happens to make the opportunity disappear.  I fight discouragement, but "always at my back I hear...."  

I was born during World War  II in New Haven, CT.  I grew up in New Haven and in Washington, D.C. with shorter stays in Virginia, Georgia, and Maryland.  I attended a private school and a public high school--both in Connecticut--and I spent several years studying at George Washington Univ. in DC and at So. Conn. State University in New Haven.  I have a Bachelors and a Masters degree in English Literature.

I have taught in public high schools and at NYU Stern School of Business.

I worked as a VP of Federal Affairs for a Honolulu based Fortune 300 energy company; ran the DC office for a Va. refinery project; acted as a consultant to the Senate Committee on Governmental Affairs; the US Synthetic Fuels Corp; the US Department of Energy; the State of Hawaii; several electric and gas utility companies; and renewable energy companies.  I was a sr. vp at Ruder Finn, a NYC public relations agency and the Executive Director of Institutional Advancement at York College, City University of New York.  

I was also a Sergeant in the US Marine Corps Reserve and a bartender for some time in Greenwich Village NYC, Provincetown, MA, New Haven, Richmond, VA, and Washington, DC.
