Getting back up.

For a long time consistent happiness has been a real struggle for me.  My path to personal development really kicked off after splitting up with my girlfriend of 4 1/2 years, almost 2 years ago.  Although it was my fault, it was something that really threw me for a loop.  Since then I have put countless hours reading, writing, and reflecting on how I can achieve sustainable happiness.

Even though all of the principals and strategies are there, it has always been constancy that has been the demise of my efforts.  For different reasons I stop reading and writing, and doing the things that keep me in a positive mindset.  Then, I gradually slip into a more negative state, until I realize what has happened, sometimes months later, and I bring myself back up to restart the process.

This processes of getting to the point where I am inspired, enthusiastic, and happy again seems to becoming easier each time.  I am grateful to my friend Tyler for introducing me to this program.  I feel it provides the tools necessary for me to work on my issue with consistency.

But, it is now time for bed so that I can WAKE UP tomorrow, clap my hands, and say, "I am having a great day!" Smile
