Now working for a local authority but facing major change in next year.

Starting singing again fairly recently and playing guitar again even more recently in church. Singing not bad, guitar - well God loves a tryer!

 I believe in people. I am a Christian but know people of all faiths and none all have insights I can learn from.  Deeply suspicious of anyone who  thinks either  they have all the answers or the right to look down on anyone else

I'm 52,  grew up in a great ,  squabbly family in Coventry. No-one told  me there wa anyhting I couldn't do until after I left school.

Wonderd what  the point of school was and left at 16 to  find out a bit more about life and  earn some money.

Worked pretty much ever since, always to do with people .

Married at 18, left at 30, have a wonderful 28 year old daughter.

Lived and worked in Leicester for a long time and loved the place and the people

Worked in public sector, voluntary sector, partnerships and for myself  over the years.

 Used to sing  in folk clubs, pubs and for charity things.

 Got management qualification and Social Sciences degree by distance learning with Open University.

Well thats the question...

Now at a point in my life where career progression isn't the be all and end all. want more time with my partner  and to be a good mum and grandma ( when the time eventually comes).

Want to be doing something worthwhile, affirming and enjoyable in twelve months time  that gives me more time with the people I love and get a buzz from.

Do want to be fitter and slimmer so I can walk up  to Kinder Scout without being overtaken by 70 year olds  and can still do it at 70.
