I love to read, write, practice yoga, meditate on my life and my future, research on the web, be introverted, and improve my personal life, physically and mentally.  When I was planning my new year resolutions for 2010, I wanted to really stick to them, to really accomplish something this year, so I started to fix goals for myself and try to accomplish them.

It didn't work.

Well, the goal for writing daily in my journal did, but everything else: Make a habit of yoga, drink more water, and be more optimistic about my life, didn't. And because of this, I felt guilty and bad about it, which me made me feel hopeless and "burned out". A week ago, I fell into a temporarily state of depression due to the bullies at my school. I didn't go to school for two days because I was so exhausted and had horrible migraines on and off throughout the day.

Well, after that, I decided that enough was enough. I picked up a copy of "The 7 habits of highly effective teens" at my library and studied it front-to-back. I know realize that I shouldn't "try" or "want to" do things, I should choose to do them, and so here I am at tools to life:

Choosing to make my life better, one baby step at a time.

I joined TOOLS because:
I wanted to learn how to make habits for myself that will stick, how to have a more optimistic, nonchalant attitude, and improve my physical and mental being.
You are offered your dream job. What job is it?:
Either a online freelance writer or a short story writer (horror).
My favorite wild animal is:
 The wolf.
Why (describe as much as possible):
Although they get a bad reputation, they're very intelligent, intellectual animals who can survive by themselves if they need to.
My favorite domestic animal is (if you choose dog be specific with breed etc):
 Shih Tzu (toy dog)
Why:
They're very gentle, make-you-feel-better dogs. I used to have one (her name was Zeta), but she passed away in Sept. or Oct. of 2009.
A famous Chef will prepare anything you want. What do you order:
Chicken Parmesan with a virgin pina coloda and a slice of German chocolate cake with praline ice cream (salivates heavily)
Why:
Um... because they taste good? *face palm*
Five people either dead or alive you would have at your fantasy dinner party::
Edgar Allan Poe, Stephen King, James Patterson, Richard Preston, and Anton Chekhov.
Why:
Because their the best damn writers of all time, that's why!
If a pilot would fly you anywhere you want, you would go to:
 Tuscany, beautiful views, I hear.
My perfect slice of pizza is:
Hamburger/sausage, although I do prefer cheese pizza, too.
You are at a bar. You order this drink:
 Virgin Pina Coloda.
You are at a coffee shop. What coffee or tea do you order:
 Caramel or strawberry frappuccino.
If a genie could grant you three wishes they would be (separate by commas):
A billion dollars, an unlimited supply of books (fiction and non), and invisibility.
You are going on a long road trip and you can only bring three CD's. Which ones do you bring (separate by commas):
Anything by Enya, Loreena McKinnet, or a remix of various songs.
If I could do anything for my neighborhood today, it would be:
To tell them about tools to life.
A sunset I remember:
I was 10 or 11 years old and just as the sun was going down, it eclipsed and made a beautiful sheet of crimson, gold, and strawberry light creep into the sky, so poetic.
Any character I could be from a movie, TV show or book would be:
The cat from Edgar Allan Poe's story, "The Black Cat"
Why:
Read the story and you'll see why.
