I was looking for tools to help me rebuild myself and my self-esteem. I want to learn to live life on my terms, stop sabotaging my dreams and develop fulfilling relationships.

 I teach English and/or French literature at the university level. It's a tenured position, of course! ;) Alternately, I could "settle" for being paid to be in school forever!

 grace and power. I love the fact that, while herbovores and generally quiet and calm animals, they don't back down from a fight when it's about their space or mates. plus they look so majestic and free.

 My cat, Moppy - who, btw, is in need of a newname.

 I love my cat. Because she's mine. Also, because she's a beautiful Birman. I love the breed (though I knew nothing about it until recently) because of a legend surrounding their origina. Supposedly, these are "famous" and pure Burmese temple cats. Go figure!

 Cipâte, a traditional French-Canadian dish. Which would mean the world-famous chef would have to be related to me by blood or else it just won't taste right. And, on the side, some home-made pickled beets.

 It tastes great! Also, it symbolizes my family, my culture, my roots. And did I mention it's AWESOME?

 Joseph Campbell, William Blake, Umberto Eco, William Shakespeare, Pierre-Elliot Trudeau

 Well, for one, I think we'd have mad amounts of cool stuff to talk about! But, individually: Joseph Campbell: I just think he's a brilliant and beautiful teacher. His work in the field of comparative mythology opened me up to an understanding of the transcendental value of stoires. William Blake: such a unique and marvellous peron, I would just love to talk to him about his fantastic mythologies and his writing. Umberto Eco: because he's smarter than I could ever hope to be and semiotics is fascinating stuff! Shakespeare: to set the damned record stright! I could be the first perosn to write a REAL biography of the uy! Also, se he could understand his importance in the canon literature of an entire language! Pierre-Elliot Truedeau: the movie star PM! He had such charisma and force of personality. And he had the balls to pirouette in Buckingham palace! The man was a giant of a human being, whether you agreed with him or not.

 Panache! It's all about his wit, his way with words. His ability to dream and far outhink anyone else in that play. However, I would ditch the low self-esteem and the confidence issues. Kind of fitting, no? ;)
