Day 58 What a shocker!!

When I heard we were going to do the 20 questions I was kinda excited,,,I haven't had a drink in 20 years and when I first took the test I got a score of 19. I thought wow all this time, I bet I get a really low score, and I would not be an alcoholic anymore. Well I got 16 this time. Funny how the alkie brain works still!! I really have to keep reminding myself this disease is cunning and baffling - the disease that tells you you are not sick. Good reminder. Thanks Coach

Debi-

You are strong & you have made changes in your life.  It's amazing that being honest with ourselves puts us at the same spot on the test; but also fuels us to strive to always be our best, KNOWING this time around that alcohol doesn't solve our problems, only blurs them.

says: WOW 20 years thats most awesome! I have been clean for 7 years and yea honesty is major my best friend and support person used to say I had my own version of honesty and I think that holds true for all of us   addicts and alcoholics. You are an inspiration with 20 years. You Go Girl!!!
