A very good way to learn about letting go of things

I am really glad to have such great friends here on the tools to life site.

i have had a really bad week. It seems that no matter how good things are there are always things that happen sometimes not such good things that make you a stronger person for just going through them.

I know you have all been worried about me not being so in touch with you my friends and with the program.

But I have had a really hard week full of trials. My week started off with my sister and families long time pet Pooh Bear a really wonderful dog. But he make it. Thank the lord. And my Dad has been going through several surgeries on for Melanoma on his face and one in his eye. Very serious. And many other things that have just make it a very hard week.

But today I took my Dad out the boat and it was a beautiful day  on the water until my phone rang and it was my neighbor at our keys home in Marathon.

He said are you sitting down and I said yes.

He he says I have some bad news for you.

Your boat sank last night.  Well that was just

was overwhelming.  With all the hard work of the sumer on getting the lobster traps out and them only to be able to check them 4 times due to all the Hurricane.  We we had planed to go this week. And now we have no way to even check the traps to see if they are even still there.  I is a big loss in the very big thousands. At the age of the boat it was not insured and we still don't know until we have a salvage company bring it up what caused its.  It is sitting in about 30 feet of water under our pier in the Atlantic Ocean. Another very big expense to have it brought up and them taken to a land fill.

Now what have I learned you may say. ?

i have learned patience, how to let go of things you have no control over. And all this is due to more self-confidence and self esteem which I contribute  to my hard work and daily growth in tools to life.  I am sure I would not have been able to handle all the pressure put on be this past week with out it.  And the power of prayer is also a big factor.

So I am going to bed early tonight so I can get up tomorrow early and look at my options and go from there.

So bear with me and thanks for your support and friendship if I ever needed this program and its wonderful community of support it is now.

Big hugs and best regards to all my friends,

Thank you for sharing your disappointments with your community here at Tools. Give yourself some time to mourn the loss of your boat. That has been a 20 year + relationship, full of many memories with your family and friends. After giving yourself this time of release, and when you are ready begin to work on or at least look at your gratitude list.

Life has it's ups and downs, and when we lose a person or a thing that has brought us love and joy we need to honor the give that they/it has given us.

You have so many talents. Share them with others when you catch your stride... that  strengthens our hearts, minds, and others.

Use your Tools and your faith and be an example to those around you at a time of disappointment, and be grateful that you have them near you now.

Love2u,

Susan
