The Power of Parents

I took a huge risk and landed a wonderful job doing exactly what I want to be doing. The love of my life is 100% supportive and will stand by me no matter what, even though we both know that it will be a challenge living 4 hours apart for a while. Everyone in my life that is close to me, and even some who aren't, have commented on the changes they have seen over the last year.  So, the question remains... when my parents say, "Is it worth it?" and "You have to finish something."... why does that leave me feeling like I'm standing on the edge of a cliff waiting to jump off into a huge tailspin?

says: You ARE standing on the edge of something, but it is not a cliff. It is an opening to new opportunities and challenges. To have a job you love and to be with a person you love, even in difficult or different circumstances, are two of the greatest gifts you can have. It is worth it. And you are worth it.
