Getting Things Done

I just read David Allen's book called Getting Things Done, and have been checking out all the online resources about it. I am really fascinated by it and think it would help me a lot, and it seems compatible with the work of Tools. I am having some trouble conceptualizing the actual implementation and was wondering if anyone else is using the system and has any helpful suggestions. Thanks!
