Well... I've been hiding out again!

Damn I hate to admit my weaknesses.  I just get so wrapped up in the fact that I'm still not working!  My wife is working 2 jobs to keep us going and my male ego just doesn't care much for that!

I'm so grateful to all the people that have boosted me and have kept in touch through this program!  It's so awesome to have others making time to remind me to keep going no matter what.  Thanks so much!

It took me 3 weeks to finish day 42... kinda pathetic aye?  I've never been a big one to do meditation.  I just don't slow down for things like that.  I know that this is a perfect time for me to give it a go.  I am learning so much these days, my brain hurts!! LOL I've been changing my diet, started on a daily vitamin program... I might as well add meditation into my life too!  It beats medication!!

Thanks again to everyone!  I'm gonna stick with Tools this time to the best of my ability!  I'm gonna beat this depression stuff once and for all!  Have a great weekend everyone!

Meditation

Meditation definitely beats medication!!!  I like that!

I'm a big believer in meditation, and have told myself for years I want to meditate, I just don't have time and I can't slow down to do it.  I sporadically take time, but I recently read a book (and maybe tools mentioned it too?) that talked about meditating anytime, anywhere.

Guess what?  My husband dragged me to a midnight showing of Iron Man last night, and it was so loud and rowdy and crowded, and it started late.  I sat there, closed my eyes, and I did it, I went to the beach.  I walked down that path to the ocean and it was beautiful.  I didn't smack the brat sitting behind me, or walk out, or otherwise cause a scene, I peacefully spread out my towel, watched the waves, and even got in some yoga before the movie finally started.  I still can't believe that in the middle of all that chaos, I was able to take some deep breaths and relax!

I hope you can find the time to squeeze it in, because we all need a mini-vacation here and there!

Nice to hear from you...

It sounds like you're doing a lot, even though you "paused" with the daily lessons... keep moving forward my friend!  Life is short, but it is wide.

Your friend, Annie.

its all good :)

It took me three weeks to do day 44 (i think it was) anyways, do it at your own pace...and keep moving forward! :D

i know its hard with the job thing but you need to look at the positive aspects of it, like at least she has a job and you have time to work on yourself :)

(i hope that helps)

have a  great weekend, stay positive, and be the change you want to see in the world
