Cannibals and Kings

Where does your protein come from today?  Who controls it?

Two very odd questions, indeed. However, they are so key to our society (or all societies) and so little questioned.  As most of us live in cities and get all of our food from either restaurants or grocery stores, we give little thought to where our protein comes from and who controls it.

In the USA, we utterly take for granted the abundance and variety of available food.  You will come to a new understanding and valuation of what is on your dinner plate and new perspectives on religion and your fellow man.

This book will open your eyes to a new perspective on society and how we arrived at our current way of living.

A warning: this book has some very harsh sections that contain unpleasant content.  There are significant discussions on cannibalism and infanticide that are gut-wrenching.
