I'm a 40 year old single gay man living in a condo in Chicago.  I went to school to be a Nuclear Engineer.  That career eventually changed over the years to Management Consulting.  All along I wanted to be an artist.   In April 2008, I quit my corporate job to dedicate full time to pursuing a career in art.  I now feel stuck in pushing it forward to support myself and become successful as an artist. 

I also get very lonely and long for an intimate relationship.

I've been single most of the time for the past 10 years.

I can picture a work life that is split 75% art and 25% consulting.  I make most of my substantial living from art, more than $100k a year.  I sell original works, prints and get commissions on very frequent basis.  The art comes naturally and quickly to me as well as the selling of it.

I lift in a loft that I created with my partner that we saved from the wrecking ball.  We restored the building and created a very unique living/work space fits are contemporary and easy going style.
