Music:
All good music. I listen to a lot of heavy metal, and lately have been into the melodic metalcore genre, such as Bullet for my Valentine, As I Lay Dying, and All That Remains. Lamb of God is rocking the groove metal too. The classics like Pantera, Slayer, Metallica, and Machine Head. I also love live 'hippie festivals', and get down to Michael Franti especially. I enjoy blues, hip hop and a little country. I spent many years in the club scene and really enjoy dancing to house music.
Books:
I like nonfiction books written in a half autobiography/half self help manner, but successful leaders and businessmen, T. Boone Pickens, Rudy Guilani. I also enjoy history, especially books about the founding of the United States and the founding fathers such as Jefferson, Hamilton, and Madison.
Favorite Places:
Aspen, Austin, Rocky Mountain National Park, the upper Arkansas River Valley; the Olympic Peninsula; Orange County, Isla Mujeres, Moab, Las Vegas, Denver, Chicago.
