Why Are Bad Decisions So EASY To Make?

I'm feeling pretty upset with myself today. I told myself that I wouldn't get off-track with my camping outings, etc... but I DID! I feel like I'm back at square one after having been out of the good habits I worked so hard to get into. Upon getting back, I've had local parades to plan/be in, birthday parties, and bratwurst day (yes, it's as bad as it sounds for you!, tenacious, you must know about this!) So, in a nutshell, I've been out (until today) of doing my checklist, exercising, eating right, drinking water, and basically everything else coach has been drilling into me for the past months! I'm beginning everything all over again, at least exercise-wise, tomorrow because people are coming over for most of the day again today. Water, eating better, etc... begin NOW! I've found out how easy it is to cave to temptation "just for today" and finding "today" is never-ending. It's ALWAYS "today". Now, I need to find my confidence and positive thoughts about myself again. Like I said, it feels like I'm starting over, and I'm just KICKING myself. Hopefully I'll sound more upbeat tomorrow...

No KICKING!!

You can still start over TODAY regardless of folks coming over today. Eating right & drinking loads oif water doesn't reaquire exercise. Your attitude is in check! I hope THAT is on your checklist, too!

Just a "little" set-back

You have recognized that you got a bit off track and you are back on the wagon! Hey, I did it too and have recently made these things a priority again. It happens. The important things is to just keep going after you've slipped up. You are doing great and I'm proud of you!!!

FAGETTA-BOUT-IT!!

You're okay.  You are aware of your behaviors and are working on changing them.  It takes a lot of effort and is certainly not a quick fix pill.  It's all worth it in the end because you're worth it.

By the way, one bratwurst on Bratwurst Day won't kill you.  I think it would be unpatriotic if you didn't indulge.  You could be tried for treason or something and we wouldn't want that!  Wisconsinites take their bratwursts very seriously.  You are doing great -- no beating yourself up okay.  :)  Yum...  Bratwurst...  Beer ...

It happens

No biggie, it happens to everyone, "Just for today" is just another trap we all have to deal with from time to time, no big deal!  You will get past it and move on!!

You can do it, keep going! You can do it, keep going!

Busy lives!

I logged in today (Wed), after not logging in for a few days due to being out of routine and getting in a bit of a strop with myself.  I think it is due to being overwhelmed with so much going on, doing more, and letting myself get run down.  I know that you will get back on track quickly.  Many of the things you mentioned as negative, I would see as positive, such as camping with your son, joining in local traditions, and spending time with family and friends.  Keep smiling!
