Gradual, But Noticable!

Looking back, it's amazing the changes that have taken place since I first started TOOLS in May. But, to me anyway, not many things came overnight. It was more like coach always says... a gradual accumulation over time. One of the biggest achievements for myself has been self-control. Before beginning the program, I would tend to get worked up over the littlest things, especially with my kids. My stress level was up, including having slight high blood pressure. I was at a point where I hated getting up to go to work in the morning, but then didn't want to go home at the end of the day either. All because of feeling so stressed out. Then came TOOLS. I learned that my attitude is my decision! I learned not to complain! I learned that I am powerful in my life and that little changes DO add up to big successes. As a consequence, I just plain feel better. I can "take a sec" and choose my behavior without acting impulsively. The biggest effect is that, while I'm not perfect by any means, my improved actions have led to an improved family life. The checklist has made me focus on my actions and mindset. As I wrote in my blog, I feel I still have a long way to go until I am satisfied with myself, so yes, I am starting over to fine-tune! But I honestly can't imagine what my life would be like, had I NOT gone through the  Tools To Life program!
