Snowboarding/Sking

 A quick example of how I am paying it forward.  I have been volunteering since November 2009, teaching people with disabilities how to ski or board.  It has been one of the most rewarding things I have ever done.  It does take me away from my family every Thursday and Friday night but it doesn't matter.  They understand and I get so much out of it.  The girl that I am teaching is 11 and is both deaf and has CP.  She is such a blast and such a pleasure to teach.  She requires a walker to ski with takes about 3 of us to teach her effectively.  I would recommend to anyone, think of something you love to do and I bet there is a need for volunteer help in that area.  I look forward to getting back out on the hill to spend more time with her!
