Day 2

 

I did it. I did the list for day 1 yesterday morning. I set the clock last night but I woke up before the clock went off! It HAS been a great day. I kept my granddaughters while their parents were at work. My! What a joy they are! We went swimming and I kicked and moved so I got in a little exercise, too. We laughed and played. I am a blessed woman to have such delightful family close by.

 

My principal called me  and asked me to teach fourth gade instead of third. I think that will work out well. Several of the third grade teachers were very negative last year, and it was difficult trying to stay positive. Many times I just joined them in their gripe sessions. It felt terrible. I was looking at the same team dynamics for the coming year, and have been trying to figure out how to combat the negativity that seemed to jump on me.  Now, I'll be working with a more  positive team.

Congratulations on day two!!!  It sounds like your work situation is looking up.  It's really hard to remain positive if everyone around you is negative.  I'm happy for you that you get to work with a more positive team Laughing
