1. Listen to The Six by Tanimura Midnight. My greatest pump up song.
2. Settle upon the reason you want to improve your image. Sometimes some good ol competitive spirit helps in the sudden "I'm GOING TO DO IT" motivation. Whenever I slack off, I remember that somewhere out there, right at this moment, there is someone who is getting stronger, faster, better than me because he/she overcame the exact feelings of laziness I was feeling at the time.
3. Sometimes it's just better to just litterally start doing it like an automaton. There had been times when going to the gym was like me going to school in the morning. I didn't want to get out of bed, but I just started following the sequence of actions in my morning routine. When I zone back in, I'm already on the school bus haha.
4. Looking at facebook pictures helps. Well for me, since some of my friends are physically fitter than me. They don't know it, but they inspire me sometimes. My wallpaper is also a few motivational quotes and images, and I have a 'goal-body' image around my desktop to remind me why I WANT to get healhier.
#3 and #2 I find are the most effective since #4 can easily lead to a 2 hour photocreep journey... Actually #4 facebook is just not recommended... Yeah.
Good luck and posper brotein shakes!
