Hi, Good try at the meditating. Some days are better than others. If you are easily distracted by noise, try listening to one of the guided meditations. I find that listening to something keeps me focused. Keep at it. You're doing great. mm

My name is Erin Savage. I'm a wife, a stay at home mother of a 6 year old boy and a 31 year old person that still doesn't know who they are.

 

Recently I have decided to take my love of art and creativity to a professional level with Body Art. 

 

I feel that I'm lacking the self confidence to take the business side of things to the level that it needs to be at in order to have a successful living.

 

My current goals at the moment are to work on my self confidence, my self discipline and most of all my peace of mind.  But... I need to find out how to do all of those things so here I am.

I joined TOOLS because:
 I've been struggling on my own for a little bit trying to improve my self confidence. Boom... all of a sudden I'm writing a review for a site called Tools to Life. When I actually see what the site is about I realize that I was presented with an opportunity to improve myself. It's what I've been looking for and today I was given it.
You are offered your dream job. What job is it?:
 My dream job is what I'm currently trying to get into... Face painting and Body Art. I love creativity, art, and self expression. I also love making people laugh and be happy. All of these things are what makes up face painting and body art. In my dreams... I'm able to make enough money doing this so that along with my husband's income I can live comfortable.
My favorite wild animal is:
 Giraffe
Why (describe as much as possible):
 First off Giraffes are so pretty. Those big eyes and long eyelashes. But I think when it really comes down to it... I like how tall they are. I'm only five foot one so I think I have a little height envy.
My favorite domestic animal is (if you choose dog be specific with breed etc):
 Ferret
Why:
 Although they are a lot of work (if you don't keep right on top of cleaning their cage it can get pretty stinky) I think that ferrets are my favorite type of animal because they are so active and inquisitive. A ferret will inspect everything in a room, every time they are let out of the cage. Just to see what's going on. They can be trained to use a litter pan and to come when they are called. They love to play you and when you are done... you pop them back in their cage. Perfect.
A famous Chef will prepare anything you want. What do you order:
 Eggplant parm
Why:
 I love eggplant parm but it is really a pain to make. You gotta fry up all the pieces first before you put them in the oven to bake and that can take a really long time.
Five people either dead or alive you would have at your fantasy dinner party::
 George Carlin, Hunter Thompson, George Clooney, My grandfather and Deepak Chopra
Why:
 George Carlin: He has always been my absolute favorite comedian. I love the way his brain works. To me he was much more than just a funny guy. He was a great thinker. Hunter Thompson: I loved how demented he was. No matter the subject, his writing pulled me right into the story. He made the line between fact and fiction very blurry... I loved it. George Clooney: Come on, do I really have to explain this one. He is gorgeous, he seems really funny and... he is on my celebrity "free pass" list that my husband and I made up. So if I were ever to get the chance, I could do so without feeling bad. My grandfather: I was really close to my grandfather when I was younger. He died when I was entering into the 7th grade. I would just like him to see how I turned out and I would love to get to experience him now that I'm a grown up. Deepak Chopra: I have begun reading his books and he just seems to have a way of looking at life that I would love to be able to adopt. He also seems like he loves to laugh and has a great sense of humor. I would like to see his reactions to George Carlin and Hunter Thompson.

 Ireland. My name is Erin which means Ireland and I really take pride in the fact that I am partly made up of Irish nationality.

 Tomato and broccoli
You are at a bar. You order this drink:
 A heineken

 Large iced coffee with skim milk only... no sugar.

 wish for an infinite number of wishes, wish that none of my wishes has any negative effect on anyone else, wish for happiness (if that means being rich.. hey, I wouldn't complain)

If I could do anything for my neighborhood today, it would be:
 Throw a block party so that everyone could get to know each other all over again. A lot of us have been living here our whole lives and have kind of lost contact with others.
A sunset I remember:
 On my honeymoon in Key West. They celebrate sunset every night and it seems like such a great idea to me.
