Belief and Fear

It has been said that there are two things that cannot coexist in the heart, and they are Belief and Fear.

One diminishes the otherTo be believe in yourself and what you do is not always easy, especially after recieving so much conditioning in our lives not to be totally convinced of ourselves on an ongoing basis.

Have some fear is natural but it is also possible to eliminated it  where it is useless and harmful.

I've been working on my career and online entrepreneurship for a while now. I have not do so with great regularity due to fear and doubt.

But every once in a while I think about the alternative - a job!

I DO NOT WANT A J.O.B.! (Just Over Broke).

I don't want to work for many hours for someone else and get only marginally compensated for it.

Truth is: If you do exactly what you are paid for (by someone else), you are a slave.  

I used to work in I.T. for about 6 years as a Technical Specialist/Web programmer/ Database Adminstrator/ LAN Administrator, etc. - in short, the "Tech Idiot for everything noone else knows how to do".

Although, I did get paid well considering that I did not study Computer Science, I hated working 40 to 50 hours a week on a fixed salary. I hated to have to apply for vacation time. I hated the stress and being totally wasted by the time I got home in the evenings and barely had any energy left to do anything for my real profession as a musician. 

Well, I dropped out of I.T. 3 years ago and I have been making my living from music again - for better of worse at this point.

Last year I started a consultancy for musicians. I held seminars in self-promotion for musicians. Great idea but it was barely paying the bills by itself. I decided that I needed another vehicle to attack it on to.

I am now working on a larger concept of a music company that will offer many different services for musicians on many levels.

I realize that if you want massive success, you have to think massively and do massive things regardless of where one stands at the moment. Regardless of how much or how little money one has.

Belief and Action is the Key!
