Day 1 of no porn / mas

The challenge is already working for me. 2-3 times during the day, when I was bored, my commitment stopped me from from what I was about to do.

As I was talking with Joe in the support group, when you live a busy life, you don't have a lot of time for porn, it's only when you're bored and you want some excitement, that you go this way. At least that's how it works for me.

Good job!

Addiction is addiction, I actually just wrote a blog about that!! ANY addiction works that way, "Hey, I have a spare few minutes lets _____!!".  You are doing great taking control of your life and your addiction like this!! Keep up the great work!

Thanks!

Thanks for the support, man!

Blog is a great idea

I just had a pretty strong urge to ignore my commitment, to help me focus and get back on track with work.  Reading your blog post made me realize what a lame excuse that would be, and two minutes later the urge has passed.

I really like the idea of making these goals in a group - the idea of letting down other people with your same goal provides an extra layer of motivation to stick with it when you are overcome by temptations.

I should really spend a few minutes to learn the layout of this website and start a daily log of thoughts and reflections.

Thanks Finger!
