Porn addiction

 I have gone 12 days without acting out my porn addiction! It hasn't been easy at all as I have had some tough times especially around money concerns which have caused me to really stress out. Now that I become clearer, I have come to realise that the porn addiction helped me to release the tension in my body and was a good coping  strategy at the time. although acting out didn't help to confront the problem during these times. Now I am making choices that help me to both confront the issue facing me which doesn't always work and doing what I need to do. This helping me to get the results, a lot of the time, that I'm desiring. So instead getting stressed and then going into addiction I now sit with my feeling of being overwhelmed and allow the it wash over me first. Then I make a choice that serves me best. I don't always get it right but I don't act out either and this helps me feel much better about myself too.
