says: think of those things that give you the greatest fulfillment.  what do you love?  who do you love? make a detailed list.  now every time you're ready to sit down to porn, look at your list and do something/be with someone from the list.  continue replacing one behavior for the other.  soon it will be like pavlov's dogs.  when you are seeking to fill that unfulfilled void, you will fill it with good, healthy you-satisfying things instead of more emptiness that leaves you feeling worse than you did before you started.  let us know if any of these things help...

says: I think a big part of TTL is that it gets us thinking more in terms of doing things for ourselves that show us that we love ourselves. Porn isnt about love and we know it. Its about lust, completely the opposite.  The exploited become the exploiters. It is utilized by people who are in darkness to suck money and energy out of us. Sex sells as the old saying goes, and the media make use of it to turn us into pathetic puppets, if we let them. We need to find healthier more fulfilling things to do that brings our consciousness out of the hankeing and lamenting state of pronography. Going out into the sunshine and fresh air everyday can help, eating healthier foods, or as mentioned in the other comment, doing yoga, finding a good freind to speak to, reading a good book. I think what happens is that we equate looking at porn with happiness, because some temporary rush is there, but thats all it is , temporary. We the soul, are loooking for happiness which is eternal , because that is what we are, eternal. Porn cheats us and short changes us from the real spiritual happiness that our soul is crying and screaming for.

says: Take it one day at a time - of if you cannot, one hour at a time.  The next time you get the urge, turn off the computer, grab a book and read, or go for a walk, or do some yoga stretching or meditate - fill the empty moments with positive, empowering actions.
