Day 33 - Daily Goals

I have to say right off the bat, I'm really looking forward to tomorrow! Today's reading was about accumulation and effort, thinking about how what we do every day accumulates over time to create results in our life. That's with an emphasis on "do", for as fun as visualisation »

My Validation Vitamin

Devlyn is so right about how good it feels to validate others. I know that whenever I would be going through a slump and not really doing Tools as much as I could just reading people blogs and CHEERing people and giving words of hope really is a pick me up. :)   So I seriously practicing N»

Day 32 - Visualisation, Part II

Happy Queen's Day from the Netherlands! Today, I'm told, is one of the biggest holidays of the year. I'm going into Utrecht after I finish Tooling today to see what the fuss is all about, apparently everyone wears orange (after the House of Orange-Nassau) and there town streets turn into»

Day 31 - Visualisation

Back on track with this getting up on time business! Today's run was an exciting new mix up of the form 6 min jog/5 min walk/6 min jog/5 min walk. Took a new route as well to celebrate occasion and fell in love with it, I'll definitely go that way again. It was a lovely little path along the»

Day 30 - Results

Finally getting to the good stuff! Picking out results today was great fun, mine involve mainly getting into shape (and into those jeans!), working hard at my degree, and making more of my free time. Unfortunate sleeping incident this morning sadly limits my Tools time so I bid you all adieux f»

I will not let myself use work as an excuse...

...because I have been since I got my new job. I feel like I don't have enough time in the day to do the things I need (like exercise, clean, work on my graphic design career, etc...) BUT....today in tools I AM taking back CONTROL! :D(Thanks Devlyn!) ;)  "I CAN CONTROL MAKING»

Day 29 - Success = Balance

Yesterday was great! I put in the effort in all the things I said I would - I didn't let myself tell me that I'm lazy, I spent an hour writing for that new blog I'm cooking up (and I'm quite pleased with the result!) and I managed seven hours of proper distraction-free concentrated s»

Day 28 - Flowers

Flowers, what a wonderful idea! I have tried keeping flowers in my room for a few weeks now and I think it's lovely. Today's shopping day occurred just at the right time as well, since my current bunch is looking a bit worse for wear ... I think I'll incorporate today's shopping to m»

Day 27 - Expectations

Felt a pang at today's message - don't expect! I think of myself as a fundamentally quite lazy person (not a good thought and something I'm working on changing, life is after all a self-fulfilling prophecy!) And this is the cause and effect of my not putting effort into things and rather»

Day 26 - Buttons

I practically never explode with anger. Sometimes I wish I could, and even think I should. There are two reasons for this, I think.  Firstly, people have to like me. I can't bear the thought of someone thinking ill of me or having a bad opinion of me. The good result of this is that I never»
