Welcome!
You're in the right place. Keep checking in and Coach will guide you, and we've got your back. Congratulations!
Way to go
Keep it up bro, you are on the right track in trying to better your life for you and your children. As Ellis says "Harden the F&*k up"!! I never did hard drugs nor abused alcohol but I was a smoker for 10 years and I kicked that habit about 5 years ago. I have since gotten very healthy with what I eat and how I workout day to day. As you know there will be setbacks from time to time, but if you REALLY want change, then change will happen. Take it easy. RED DRAGONS!!
YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE
I came on here because of Ellis, too, man. I've never used drugs, but my ex-wife was an alcoholic. It destroyed our trust, our finances, and helped to destroy our marriage. It's hard to see someone you love go through that pain.
I truly believe Tools to Life can help you focus on what's important. Ellis gave up his partying lifestyle because he wanted to be with Andrea, Snookie, and El Tigre! Draw strength from his story. Even though he's not perfect, I hear him talk all the time about how he doesn't want to fuck things up with his family by going back to his old habits. It's what drives him to be a better person. He truly is an inspiration to a lot of people.
good luck. We're behind you, sir.
RED DRAGONS!

I have not been in the position to really understand the effects of addiction, but from what I understand it seems almost impossibly hard. People do work through it though. You have to make the decision to want change. If you really want change, then you can earn it. Whatever you are finding in that drink or drug you have to find in something more positive and constructive.
This place is great for sorting things out. I wish you the best of luck in your journey. Keep remembering that someday your kids will be grown and they may ask you about this very decision and this time in your life.
Kick some ass and make it happen!!!
