Great Weekend

Did you have a wonderful weekend!? I did. I didn't log in on Sunday. Because I work online, I like to have at least one day of the week where I don't touch the computer. I love what I do, but I really think a change of pace is important.

Yesterday, my husband and I went to a local farmer's market and stocked up on all kinds of beautiful local produce and some bread from a bakery we like. Then we spent the afternoon resting, doing a bit of yard work and for supper cooked up some of those delicious veggies on the BBQ. The only thing I missed was taking time to ride.

Nor did I add any words to my book. But I wrote almost twice as much as my goal on the day previous and will probably do so today as well. Doesn't seem to matter what you do the intial steps are the hardest. The hardest part of a run is getting your shoes on. The hardest part of a ride is getting into the truck to get to the barn. The hardest part of writing is picking up the pen, or starting up the laptop. The rest is easy.

I noticed you do dressage!  I do as well.  You and your horse look lovely together in your profile photo.  I'm glad you enjoyed your weekend!
