I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder three years ago. Knowing this was shocking to me and my husband, I felt so confused at the beginning, but then I realized that it was good to know on what waters I was sailing.

It took me time and a lot of effort to go through medications and therapy, all that helped me to gain my life back. I started a new career at the university, I began to enjoy being with my friends again and the most important, I finally was able to connect emotionally wiith my son and enjoy being a mom, and I love it.  My relationship with my husband improved so much.

We always wanted to have another child, but I was always postponing it due to my emotional instability, but now after three years of treatment, I was feeling espectacular, my life was mine again, so it was the perfect time...and I got pregnant. I can't tell how happy we are...but since I left my medication (it is harmful for the baby) it seems the depression is coming back.

So I decided to find other ways to control these mood swings, I read some books, and a couple of days ago I found TOOLS on the web. I read the information, watched the videos, and I concluded that it was perfect for me, just what I needed. I am doing this not only for my baby, but for myself, if I am not Ok my baby won't. So here I am, starting a new adventure to re-create my life, and I am very confident that with TOOL's help and your help I will make it.
