A little slip

Last night was a rough one. Was home by myself, pondering all the things that were going wrong and let them all really get to me. I’m pretty sure my inner voice was talking, but I know I was ignoring it. Decided that vodka on a Tuesday night while setting up the Christmas tree was a good idea. I was wrong. Hangover Wednesday isn’t worth trying to find comfort in a bottle. I did realize after reading the 10 traps of failure that I had been selective in following my checklist. I hadn’t taken the time to listen to my inner voice. Today is an opportunity to go back to week one, day five and re-do my inner voice day and commit to it this time. I’m allowed to have a slip but I refuse not to make up for it by addressing the problem.

I absolutely agree. About the last year I started drinking beer with my family, I helped my brother by quitting with him, and little did I know I got myself addicted too.

Just one more thing to add to the list! :)

Listen to your inner voice (unless you are really hearing voices! :P) it knows you best.
