Fave?

Which tool in your program so far has touched you the most? Mine has kind of been a combination of the last four-ish days, but today really got me. The combination of fear+complaints+excuses is a deadly one, but then you throw in LYING to yourself? Man, that's a recipe for self-defeat!  »

Personal Assessment

Does anyone else think it's funny that the scale on the vertical axis changes depending on how varied your responses are? It's funny, because it makes even changes of only a couple stars seem REALLY dramatic... Just had to laugh about that tonight.  »

Effort.

Do you ever notice that sometimes you just work harder? No one asks you to, but something kicks you in the pants and off you go.I had a day like that at work today. Do you know the feeling? Now here's a follow up:How do you artificially create that situation, even when you aren't really f »

Lazy days

In tools, we're supposed to follow the checklist and get up on time, etc.So here's my question-- on your lazy days, days off of work and school, where your commitments are minimal do you let yourself slack? If so, what do you slack on? If not, how do you keep yourself focused?  »

Favorite Feature?

My favorite thing that I see on tools is my "last login" because it KEEPS ME HONEST. If YOU can log on and see that I haven't logged in in three days, it is more upsetting than if I'm the only one who knows it. So what's YOUR favorite thing on tools?  »

Does your work make you happy?

I like my job-- because it is predominantly about playing with makeup, which I LOVE. But it inspired me for a two part question: Do you like your job? (I mean, do you enjoy the subject of our employment, what you do, blah, etc.) And two: Do you like your coworkers? Do they make you sm »

Anxiety?

Does anyone else get anxiety about sending someone a friend request? It's kind of silly, right? I mean, I will never meet any of you, and yet I get scared that I'm being judged... WHAT THE HECK IS THAT ABOUT? Is this phenomenon unique to me or do others go through this as well?&nbs »

Motivation

I've run into the same problem just about every semester of my education-- I start off great, coordinating folders, notebooks, and binders... taking notes and attending class religiously... and then the semester wears on and all of a sudden I am barely attending class and NEVER taking notes.&nbs »

How do you decide?

How do you decide when a situation in your life is a problem that needs to be dealt with or one that should just be accepted? Theoretically that should be based on if you can change it or not, but how do you decide when the risk/challenge involved with the change is worth the potential benefit »
