Day 23...The best day yet!

Day 23 is the best day yet!  I got two calls for positions with biotech companies in my hometown!!!  This is a really big deal for me as they are rare and highly sought after.

I am going to hit their websites and read everything I can about them.  My competition will be very strong but I want it MORE!

The thing with Tools is it allows me to emit positivity and that is certainly something people pick up on.  It is very contagious and even the most negative person likes a little dose of sunshine periodically.

As I mentioned yesterday, my situation hasn't changed but my attitude has.  As a result, I re-wrote my resume' and cover letter and the positive attitude oozes out of them!

I directly link this to my getting the two calls yesterday and today.  Your attitude really steers your day and life.

It is funny how down I let myself get a few months back.  I can't believe I allowed that to happen.  I am seeing so much progress with myself now that I feel like a completely different person than I was a few short months back.

I know it is important to stick with Tools consistently because the program builds on the previous lesson.  Incremental steps to controlling yourself, your life and your happiness.

Let's face it, if you are happy, then your life is going well...satisfying job, friends and family, positive activities, etc.

I have made alot of money in the past, lived in very nice homes and was a miserable wretch.

Now, I am not working, paying two mortgages and and watching my savings get reduced to near nothing but I am feeling really good!  I am healthy emotionally.

That usually isn't the case with people.  The thing is, I have realized that I can lose everything financially but I will still be here.  I have my health, family and friends and I can re-build financial security.

I am just re-defining what I consider financial security.  When chasing money goes from being fun and challenging to becoming a negative obsession that causes me to lose sight of what is important, I will stop and smell the roses.

I like how Coach Steele keeps reminding me that happiness is the journey and not the destination.

Never forget that!

I hope you all stick with Tools.

Best regards,
