Day 10 - Attitude

I would like to introduce, the late Teegs (the opportunist cat). He had a attitude that caused my attitude to be tested often.

Teegs was the opportunist, the ever watchful cat, never let a chance go by to grab food, (he actually tore up a plastic bag to get at a frozen chicken on the sink). Strange as he was always well fed.

He also had no hesitation to use me as a warm cushion as you can see in this picture.

Over time Teegs allowed me to alter my attitude from annoyance to acceptance, then to love, then to sorrow when he finally was so sick I had to make the tough decision to have him put to sleep.

I learnt from him and reading that we are absolutely in control of our attitude every minute of every day. I urge you to make your attitude positive and joyous.

I remember a saying;

"Your attitude determines your altitude"

- I have no idea who wrote it or said it and for a while, I never really got it.

Attitude: -  I understand it now and I am in charge of it, finally, and I am better for it.

I wish you well on your own personal journey.

Cheers Goodbloke

People and their pets.

I am sorry for your loss.  It is a very difficult decission that we make about pets.  I have lefy 3 wonderful animal companions behind through my life.  I am greatful for each of them.  Glad to have had them and even the pain and lonliness of loosing them has been bitter sweet.  You were fortunate to have enjoyed such a cat.

If my relationships with partners was as simple as the ones with the animal in my life, life would be grand.  I am accepting of a pets strange behavior.  I make no excuses for it and either  train it or live with it.
