Spent my early yourth in the Rio Grande Valley.  Our family at the time was very close so holidays and special occassions were always full of cousins, aunts and uncles.  As I grew older, I spent lots of time listening to Heavy Metal and Punk Rock music.  I enjoyed horror movies and independent movies .  My high school years were troublesome due to boredom.  I dropped out of high school for 1.5 years and decided to return and finish high school, after spending a summer with my father and having to work at a McDonalds.  I quickly realized that I needed to continue my education if I intended to improve my life.

Once out of High school, I decided to enroll in our local University in Edinburg Texas.  Not really having any idea what I wanted to do, I chose to become a journalism major.  After two semesters of basics, I soon realized writing wasn't my thing.  I started to re-evaluate what I was always good at and found that I should look into a science based field.  My ex-girlfriends dad suggested I look into Electrical Engineering, so I started considering it.  I soon switched majors and started the EE program.  I started catching up with my Math and Physics and soon realized this was my calling.  I had soon discovered that I had strong analytical skills and a good understanding of the world of physics.

After my 2nd year at UTPA, I got a summer intership at Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio and spent the summer working for the Space Science and Instrumentation Department.  I decided to stay in San Antonio and transfer to UTSA.  I then began to take most of my EE courses at UTSA.  I spent many hours studying and focused on finishing my EE. My junior year I attended a job fair in Austin Texas and acquired another COOP in Richardson Texas with Nortel Networks.  I spent about 9 months working for Nortel traveling to various job locations and gathered experience in the Wireless Telecom world.  After the COOP term was over, I transfered once again to UT at Arlington and finished my last year and graduated at UTA.
