Trying to Stay Motivated

I've just finished Day Six and I can't believe how much I look forward to logging into TTL.  It is the first thing that I want to do in the morning.  I come to the computer with childlike enthusiam and am so inspired!

Yet, yesterday I hit a roadblock.  I went out on a date.  I was inspired, excited, and happy.  Then doubt started kicking in.  Did my hair look okay? Should I have worn a different outfit?  Will he ever call me?  The list goes on and on.

I've mentally replayed that date at least 100 times.  Not only was it the first date, but it was just yesterday.  I want to be happy regardless of whether I'm in a relationship or not.  But one of my biggest goals is to be in a relationship.  I'm struggling with finding a balance.

hello

I understand - as soon as the negative thoughts start, it is hard to stop them.  They start getting irrational and ridiculous.  I hope to learn how to stop that.....

you are a couple of days ahead of me (I am on day 3) and I think this will work for us if we keep trying.

The guy will call if it is meant to be.  And if he does not, then it is his loss.  The perfect guy is out there - he has to be.
