Day 9...New Developments

There's a character in the series, 'Sex and the City,' named Charlotte.  I can really identify with her character, her feelings about relationships and the hits and misses that she experienced.  Often times I meet somebody and in the "rush" to get into a relationship I become instantly in love.  Maybe not love but I imagine a life with guys that I've just met.  It was a really unhealthy quality and something that I've said that I was going to work on.

Last week I met someone.  And I was for sure that he was "The ONE" hahaha.  After I date, I never heard from him again.  The one ace in my pocket this time was TOOLS.  I kept up with my daily readings and exercises and I wasn't crushed.  I woke up every morning claiming to have a great day and I can honestly say that I haven't had any bad days.

Since then, I've set up 3 dates, one is today.  One tomorrow and one next week.  I've finally realized that it doesn't have to happen overnight and while I'm searching for love and companionship I don't have to sit at home and wallow in self-pity.  I can still get out there and meet new people.

Today is indeed a GREAT day!

GO!

You Go GIRL!!!

Patience is the KEY!

Take your time, been there, done that and rushed too fast - I know how you feel, the rush and the first feelings of confidence and with Tools, I learned what you have as well.

Sending you a hug Sending you a hug, Micci
