Day 15...Made It to 33!!

I turned 33 today.  As I watched the fireworks tonight and thought about the changes that I'm beginning to make in my life,  I was moved.  Moved isn't the right word.  I was motivated and encouraged.  It's funny that it worked out that I would be on day 15 and today's lesson was about gratefullness.

Today I focused on the good in my life, the little things.  Normally, I would have been discouraged and thinking about all the things that I don't have.  But today, of all days I woke up being so grateful that I made it to 33.  Two years ago, I was a mess.  Suicidal, depressed, on a ton of different medication, just a mess!  In that 2 years a lot has happened, but I'm still here.  I know that everything will work out, and I can honestly say that I'm beginning to see the glass as half full.  I'm so very grateful for TOOLS.

When I initially signed up for TOOLS, it was just another site that I happened to pass by.  I signed up and forgot about it.  Coach Steele was persistent and after 2 or 3 emails, I decided to come back and try the program.  Since then, not a day has gone by that I haven't logged in.  It's the one thing that I look forward too every morning.  For 2 weeks I haven't had any bad days.  Funny how easy some things are and we can make them difficult.

As I'm working on my grateful list, I can begin it with, "I'm so grateful that I found TOOLS, or TOOLS found me."  It was exactly what I needed. Laughing

MANY HAPPY RETURNS ...

I'm glad that you and TOOLS found each other (and they'd live happily ever after ...Cool).  Good on you girl.  What a lovely present for your 33rd!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY,   gypsyNIKKI!

(All the best ... wishing you more to come)

Enjoy your journey with the program.  The best is yet to come.  Clap, splash, brush, smile.  Have a great day, GN!

great points

stop fighting, and start living...isn't that what it's really all about? If we fight something, a natural barrier is put up in front of it, but when we accept difficulties as normal occurences in life, all of a sudden they aren't difficulties! To anyone out here reading this post, if you haven't read it already, one of the best books on this topic; The Road Less Traveled.......I definately recommend it to anyone that has a pulse....

Thanks for the post!
