So I move around a lot and have stopped trying to make new friends.  I'm uncomfortable getting to know people and I don't trust them.  I also feel bad for my wife, because she has to move around too, but we never have anyone to spend time with because I'm afraid of social situations.  So what happens if I overcome this fear and simply develop a new fear of not being able to maintain my friendships.
What is your answer?

 They are survivors. They are reviled and hunted and chased, but they still survive. They live in inhospitable places and eat horrible things, but at night they all howl like they're having a great time.
My favorite domestic animal is (if you choose dog be specific with breed etc):
 Dogs-Any hound (Beagle, Black and Tan Coonhound, Redbone Coonhound, etc)
Why:
 They have the energy to play, but then they can be lazy inside. Plus, they are beautiful animals.

Why:
 It's flavorful and hot and reminds me of Alaska.
