I am getting close to the beginning - I have gathered so many Tools along the way and I'm gotten accustomed to using multiple Tools each and every day. I can see myself changing my attitude and creating the life I want. I am hooked, so I will continue to use the Tools and I will continue to check in on the site as a happy reminder.
I'd like to take this opportunity to give myself a little shout-out:
1.) I've changed my attitude at work and it couldn't have happened at a better time. My boss went on leave and I got a new analyst under me, so I was essentially doing three jobs. I did not complain (at least too much); I did not make excuses for anything falling through the cracks - I just did all three jobs and I've gotten a lot of recognition along the way.
2.) I have become much more understanding with my husband. He has been in a rough work situation for a few years. Previously, I would fall into the we'll be happy in the future trap. I would tell him to try to deal with it so we could save as much money as possible and then retire really early. I now say - NO! That is not how we should live!!! I want both of us to be happy now. With my full support behind him, he has been able to separate himself from the bad work situation and is well on his way to making a great success of a new company. I still find myself a little scared about it, but I now we have thought through the issues and we can easily conceive and believe in the prospects!
3.) I have become a much more patient daughter. My mom and I have been through a lot together, so we certainly know how to step on each other toes. She has been out here with us for about a month now and I can see myself not letting those little things get to me. I forgetta about the bad things in our past and focus on our happy, loving present. My mom is still used to the old me, but i am slowly moving her along to the more patient me.
4.) I am much more focused on how to take care of me. I know what to do to take care of myself and I always make that the first focus. I do not let others sway me or pull me aways from that first priority.
5.) My work ethic has always served as an example, but through Tools I have made it much more systematic (i.e. easily copied). I help my friends with work-out advise and work advise. It is very rewarding to know I am helping improve other people.
I have many more little accomplishments along the way, but I think the main is that: I am enjoying each day more and I am enjoying being me.
Thanks and I look forward to many more accomplishments!
