I am recently divorced after  14 years  of marriage.  I have one teenage daughter who I am crazy about.

 

This single life is new for me and I'm finding it hard to trust anyone with my heart.  Years of living in a loveless marriage, the divorce process, and then having other relationships fall apart instantly, have destroyed my self esteem, confidence and trust in other people.

I joined TOOLS because:
 Initially, I joined with enthusiasm to learn how to become a stronger person. Now, I've realized, after being the shoulder for so many others, there is no shoulder left for me to lean on. So, I am on my own, trying to pull myself out of a dark place and be my own biggest support system.
You are offered your dream job. What job is it?:
 I"m really not sure what my dream job would be.
My favorite wild animal is:
 Giraffe
Why (describe as much as possible):
 There is something about the giraffe's awkwardness that makes me love it. Maybe it is just easy for me to relate to.

 Cat

 Cats are calm and show so much affection. They will lay beside you and purr, even when everyone else in the world hates you.

 I'm a meat and potatoes girl.

 My grandfather who passed away 18 years ago, other than that, I'm not sure.

 My Grandfather has always been the only person who would make time for me. I miss him very much.
