diet food, soda?

Anyone,

I have always really liked diet soda.  About 3 can a day habit.  I know water is better, nut is it really that bad?

Also any word on nonfat vs full fat yogurt?

I learned at Weight Watchers that they reason they recommend that you drink at least half of your water as just plain water (4 glasses) a day is so then when you're stuck out where there is no diet soda, no crystal light, and so on, then you can choose the water instead of the regular soda.

Good for you for getting more information!

hi hudson6

i have never been a soda gal, i am nursing a coffee habit myself :-) But I think its about balance. I have truly learned to love water, and I now know that a lot of my headaches, tiredness etc actually stem from dehydration.

Sodas are sweet of course but do have sodium in them too which can be dehydrating for you. And I don't hear good things about chemical sweeteners.

It seems every where I turn these days, I read something bad about the stuff I like to eat :-) so I understand your dilemma.

Enjoy, but do keep up your water intake, I promise you will feel better for it.
